✳ A developer. And a few other things.

Hey, I’m Rohit.
I make interfaces
feel like something.

A frontend & mobile engineer with a soft spot for thoughtful interactions, open source, and figuring things out.

Currently, Founding Mobile Engineer at Tria

The foundations / GeekyAnts

Learning by
making things.

Working across frontend and backend at GeekyAnts, I found myself drawn to the space between how an interface looks and how it works.

React Native became a big part of that story. So did the tools that make building for web and mobile a little better.

React NativeReactDeveloper tooling
A look under the hood +

My work spans React, Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, bundlers, and Babel plugins—connecting the visible interface to the foundations underneath it.

Building in the open

Good tools are
better shared.

I care about the experience of the person building the interface, too. That’s led me to component libraries, styling engines, and a few experiments of my own.

Sharing the things I learn

A note to myself.
A talk for everyone.

Sometimes the best way to understand something is to explain it. Here are a few conversations about the things I’ve been exploring.

Founding Mobile Engineer / Tria

A blank project.
Then, a whole app.

I built Tria’s React Native and Expo app from scratch—from the first architectural decisions to getting it into people’s hands through both app stores.

01

Built the foundations. App architecture, component patterns, and a design system with LLM support and documentation generated from component comments.

02

Connected the tricky parts. Web3 package compatibility, integration patches, and helping web developers find their feet in React Native.

03

Owned the path to release. Store submissions and reviews, EAS, GitHub Actions, and build notifications for the team’s QA workflow.

More about release engineering +

Managed the cycle from building to publishing: communicating with Apple and Google reviewers, submitting apps, and getting approvals. Automated builds and notified Slack channels when they were ready for QA.

Still in the making

The little things
are the big things.

A transition that feels natural. Feedback at just the right moment. Components that make the next screen easier to build.

I’ve been working on micro-animations throughout Tria as part of an upcoming app rework—bringing that same care to the details.

always a work in progress. me, too.

A few side quests

There’s a person
behind the pixels.

Away from the keyboard, I’m usually playing guitar, singing, or getting into a game. A different kind of flow, with a little less debugging.

Always curious about good interfaces, interesting tools, and what people are making.

The next chapter

Let’s make
something thoughtful.
